Anne Curtis says she and Sam Milby are starting anew “Clean slate.” This is how actress Anne Curtis described her current relatioship with leading man and former boyfriend Sam Milby. “We’re starting anew. No expectations, we’re not pressuring each other into anything. We’re just enjoying each other. It’s better like that.”
Although they are no longer together, Anne explained that Sam will always be someone who has a special place in her heart. “May tendency din siya to be imperfect but he’s always someone who listens to what I have to say. He’s very nice pero alam naman natin boys always mature slower,” she said, followed by a laugh.
Anne and Sam are now currently working on their first movie together, Babe, I Love You, which she said is a big deal to both of them because they need to prove how effective their love team is in movies. “Napatunayan na namin na we click on TV pero sana mapatunayan din namin on movie.” But she is glad to work with Sam again, whom she last worked with in the teleserye, Dyosa. “Ngayon ko na lang siya nakaka-work ulit and I find out how he is when it comes to doing movies, kung gaano siya kakulit at kung gaano siya ka-serious.” The actress is also glad to finally grant the request of the Sam-Anne fans whom the actress shared kept sending petitions to see the two of them in a film for the past many years.
Meanwhile, Anne is also resolute of her decision to stay positive this year and has learned from her past mistake of letting herself be affected with negative publicity. “I won’t allow it to affect me anymore and I wanna make this a year of being positive. So kahit anong sabihin ng mga tao, hindi talaga ako magpapaapekto. It’s gonna be a year of positivity and that’s one of my imperfections before, na baka maapetukhan sa mga negative. So that’s one of the things that I have improved on.”
